PICA - Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts 

Housed in a centrally located, iconic heritage building in Perth's Cultural Centre, the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) is a place where visitors can experience the work of local, Australian and international artists working in the areas of visual, performing, new media and hybrid arts.

PICA has a bar that is open for performances for patrons to enjoy a drink before or after the show. Located in the Perth Cultural Centre, PICA is also in walking distance to the Northbridge entertainment district, with a wide range of bars and restaurants to make your night complete.

The State Library Carpark, open 24 hours, is secure and situated a short walk from the venue. PICA is only minutes away from the Perth Railway Station and local bus services.

In 2010, PICA’s performance space will be fitted with brand new seating, ensuring your visit to the venue will be more comfortable. The seating in the PICA performance space is unreserved for HotBed Ensemble productions.
